Time for another edition of the RightBible podcast, your weekly deep dive into the story of the very first Bibleand the Marcianite Christian Church find out more at the very first Bible, dot, org stripping away two thusand years. A false doctrine isn't easy, butwe've had lots of coffee. Now your host Daren Kalama, and welcome back to another edition ofthe Right Bible, podcast, I'm Daren Kalama in our first podcast. We did acomplete overview of the exact contents of the very first Bible and from thatshow we know that they are or that it consists of the ten epistles of Paul Callatians, first and second Corinthians Romans, first and second Thesalonianslayotisenes, Colosians, Philammon and...

Philippians, and last but not least, the gospel of the Lord and notice. The the wording that's used here. It's nota gospel of the Lord One of the Gospels of the Lord. It's the gospel of theLord Denoting Singularity denoting that there's only one gospel of the Lordthere's, not four there's not five. There's not three. There's one gospelof the Lord, and we know that, because Paul tells us that in scripturemultiple times, in fact, when you read through the epistles throughout them,he says and uses the exact phrase. My Gospel on three different occasions. Infact, th epistles are just loaded with examples of of Paul Talking about thisGospel in a singular sense. In fact, let's run through a few of those in today's episode andbefore we do just to give you a little...

...background on the the Gospel. Where didit come from? You know. How did he get it Paul received that that Gospeldirectly from a revelation from Jesus Christ? The circumstances surrounding it arenot pretty. He was on his way to Damascus to continue in the persecution of Christians, hunting them down andimprisoning them. We know for a fact that that Paul wasthere when sint Steven was martyred, so Paul had a quite the history and persecutingChristians, and he was on his way to do what he did best, which was persecuteChristians and so on. This trip to Damascus to do just that. The Lordintervened and he received a revelation from Jesus Christ and he turned andbecame a Christian. It was during that...

...moment that he received this revelation of the gospel of the Lord, and this iswhat drove him to travel the entire World Ovr, the known world or the RomanEmpire at that time, preaching the Gospel. In fact, he was the mostprolific preacher of Christianity of that era, and many churches were formed as resultof his travels. So obviously this had a huge impact on him and again he's veryspecific that this was. He uses the phrase of my Gospel. So there's noquestion that we're not talking about a wide variety of gospels out there atthe time there was only one Gospel and he knew it and we're going to talklater about how the other apostles also knew it. Everybody was on the same pagewith this. It wasn't until later that the waters became murky. So let's go tothe two examples that for the most part, just erase any doubtthe first one escalations, one nine...

...quote unquote, as we have said beforeso now. I say again if any one preaches any other gospel to you than what youhave received, let him be accursed unquote. The second one is even more direct andI don't know how you can frame this or put this through some kind of confusingJudaic prism. That makes it seem like what it's not it's very clear quoteunquote, but I certify you brethren that the Gospel which was preached ofme, is not after man, for I neither received it of man but by therevelation of Jesus Christ, unquote and that's from collations one, eightthrough nine, let's, let's, let's read it again, but I certify you brethrenthat the Gospel which was preached of me is not after man, for I neitherreceived it of man but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. So Paul hasjust got then telling you there's one...

...gospel. He got it from a revelation andhe got it directly from Jesus Christ. He wasn't referring to Matthew, MarkLuke or John. It also means that everything in the epistles all ten ofthem, is derived directly from the gospel of the Lord Hi. His revelationthis one gospel now this brings up a lot of questions and before we kind ofdelver or do our deep dive into them, it's really important that you actuallyhave a copy of the very first Bible. I'm going to have links, show linkswhere you can has always download a free copy. If youwant, you can pick up a paperback go to Amazon type,in four words, the very first Bible boom, and it should show right up butor just get the free e book. It doesn't...

...matter the point being you really aregoing to need to be able to follow along as we as we talk about thesescriptures and and get into the nooks and crannies of of some of these versesyou're going to find it very helpful because otherwise we have to go backand forth between the First Bible and the Modern Bible and and we're just going to get nowhere fastdoing that all right now. We also know that, and again wejust talked about it even from the Modern Bible that Paul was sent outspecifically to preach this gospel of his this gospel of the Lord to theUncircumcise, meaning the gentiles, and it was also decided that Peter andJames they would focus on on preaching and Tryig to convert the Hebrews. It'swhat they were good at Paul, on the other hand, seemed to have a Nack withtalking to gentiles. He spoke Greek, so for him it was kind of a natural fitto do this and he had the gospel. So...

...with that in hand, he goes outthroughout the known world and start preaching, but this really should bringup a lot of questions in your mind. The first one should be well, I don't seePaul's Gospel in my Modern Bible, I looked everywhere and it's not there. Isee Matthew Mark Lugan, John. I don't see anything. That's called the gospelof Paul or Paul's Gospel. The good news is, you can read it it's in the veryfirst Bible and it's about twenty chapters long and I recommend reading it for ourfuture. PODCAST it'll give you a frame of referencas. We go along because thestory of this Gospel is is really amazing. It took the equivalent of the ManhattanProject To make this Gospel. Go Away. In fact,Paul throughout his his history with the church was a huge problem...

...for some of the early church fatherswho insisted on Judiizing the Gospel and the history, and those are some ofthe things we're going to get into which are going to are going to includesome someuncomfortable subject matter like especially the Gospel of Matthew. You know when let me put it this waywhen you read Matthew, Mark Luke and John, and you read it having the actual gospel of the Lord infront of you as you do. The the the original Gospel acts as a type ofcryptographic key, and you can sit back and actually read these other fourgospels, and you can look and say that is exactly where they changed it orthat's exactly where they addid it or look at the nuwancs or the narrativethat they were trying to weave in here. But unless you had the actual original, unless you had the gospel of the Lord itself, you would read Matthew, MarkLucan, John and be completely clueless...

...et said. Well, that's, that's. You knowthe Bible and you know that's it, but having this key are really allows youto see whith the original intent and meaning was so really just somefascinating stuff coming up, and you know we're going to do more episodesand shows on it, but I think you're going to leave it there today give youan opportunity to get your copy of the very first Bible, I' Goang. To have some show links, you can click on and get it for free or you canget the paperback whatever you want to do it doesn't really matter the point,is you really do need to have a copy of it? So you can follow along and andbecome just as as amazed as everyone elseis when they, when they finally geta look, so we'll leave it there and we'll seeyou next time.
